The Summer Styles of 2011, Part 2:

  • Leopard Print is on the prowl!
Like most prints, this print reveals itself more often; not just for summer.  However, this season it is everywhere!  Like all prints, you have to know what works with your style and your body type.  Not only that, but some leopard prints can look really cheesy.  So be choosy when picking the right leopard print for you.

  • Southwestern & Tribal Prints
Southwestern print and tribal print are really big this season.  It’s pretty accessible to buy at almost any of your favorite stores.  I never would have thought to put southwestern and tribal prints in the same category, but here you go!

  • Bold & Crazy Prints
Right behind the popularity of southwestern and tribal prints is the uprising of bold and sometimes crazy prints.  Is this here to stay a while?  I guess we will have to find out.  It stuck for a while in the 80’s, but this time it is a bit more tasteful.  If you absolutely love bold and crazy prints, again, make sure it goes with your body type.  Sometimes the bolder or crazier the print, the frumpier it makes you appear, depending on your body…so watch out!

  • Stackable Rings, Bracelets & Multi-Layer Necklaces
This trend has been around for a little bit, but it is popping up more this summer season.  Multi-layer necklaces and stackable jewelry is a great way to throw in different types of patterns, metals, stones or beads.  Here are a few pieces to show variety on what you can expect to see in this department.
