Besides polka dots, this is also my other top favorite style! I LOVE anything that shimmers, glitters or sparkles! This also extends to nail polish and make-up, of course. Sequins, metallic and shiny fabrics are hitting the runways. Express clothing recently had a fashion show in Las Vegas on the strip; their main trend? Metallic fabrics and sequins. I also came across a photo in Marie Claire magazine of models for Alexander Wang dressed in “shiny Lurex-infused fabric”. I have put together a few samples of what is hot in shimmer fabrics, sequins and glitter in clothing and accessories. Again, be careful with the sparkles. Too much can become overbearing. Just a little sparkle here and there is all you need for some punch!
